FRANK PAIMAN

Frank Paiman, born in Surinam started his professional education with a technical mid level degree, then several levels of supervision courses, with software education in autocad drawing, including autocad 3D training. In Surinam and Aruba Frank gained his work experience in these fields, added experience in calculating for, amongst others ‘ARTO Ingenieur’ and architectural company KB estate. In 2006 he continued his career with Joe Architects & Planners on Aruba.

In 2009 Frank joined the Streefkerk architects + consultants team on Bonaire as a supervisor, draughtsman and calculator. Since 2016 Frank is the owner / director at Streefkerk Architects + Consultants

His contribution to several projects include housing projects, infrastructure, department stores, houses/villas and renovation of monumental and commercial buildings

Architect

ROXSEN SCHWENGLE

Roxsen Schwengle studied at the Technical University of Delft, earning a Master’s degree in Architecture Urbanism & Building Sciences. Her specializations were in Dwelling, Interiors, and Public Building. Roxsen has gained a sound architectural background that traces back to her studies. Prior to earning her Master’s, Roxsen studied Construction & Engineering at the secondary vocational level in Aruba. She then continued her studies in the Netherlands and earned her Bachelors of Build Environment at the University College of Utrecht. During her studies in Utrecht, Roxsen pursued a Minor in Interior Architecture at the University College of the Arts in the Utrecht.

Also during her studies, Roxsen gained experience through freelance work, jobs, and internships at various architectural firms in Aruba and The Hague. After completing her studies, Roxsen had a brief entrepreneurial stint, founding her own firm SML Company in Rotterdam together with her graduation partner. Here, they collaborated on a few projects related to architecture, design, and graphical design.

Mid-2012, Roxsen emigrated to Bonaire to use her knowledge, experience, and creativity to contribute to the work of the Streefkerk Architect & Consultants firm and to the design of Bonaire.

Having been born on the neighboring island of Aruba, Roxsen has a native feel for Caribbean design and construction. With more than fifteen years of training and experience in construction and architecture, Roxsen has developed into an Architect with strong technical engineering expertise and insight. Roxsen loves making the wishes of the client a reality, paying great attention to functionality, quality, and aesthetics.

Supervisor/draftsman

BEN OVERGAAUW

Ben Overgaauw, who came to Bonaire in 2015 to strengthen the Streefkerk architects & consultants team, was born and raised in the Netherlands. Obtained the MTS Architecture degree and taken various function-oriented training courses, such as business economics and organizational methods, STABU, building physics, AutoCAD, building code, and REVIT architecture.

He has worked in the Netherlands at various small and medium-sized architectural and consultancy firms; and he has also gained plenty of experience with designing specs, including drawing, budgeting, and supervising projects. The projects on which he has worked were extremely varied, from new constructions and school rebuilds to newly constructing and expanding small and large residential and utility construction projects, as well as restoration and renovation projects.

Architect

OLIVIER VET

With over 15 years of experience in architecture and urban planning offices he build up experience in various fields of architecture, urban planning and civil design.

Before working as an independent architecture consultant, Olivier worked at Crepain Binst architecture , bureau Omgeving in Antwerpen (BE) and Maxwan architects and urbanists in Rotterdam (NL).

Since 2018 he joined the Streefkerk architects + consultants team where he works on a variety of projects ranging from private houses to public buildings and civil infrastructures.

As part of the Streefkerk team,  Olivier is a versatile construction expert involved in design,  drawing , cost-estimation, and writing specifications. He holds a master degree in architecture and interior architecture from the Fontys MAU Tilburg and Antwerp University.

ADRIAN E. COFFIE

Adrian Coffie, the youngest member of the Streefkerk Architects + Consultants’ team, was born and raised in Bonaire. After
obtaining his MTS Architecture Degree in Aruba, he went to the Netherlands to obtain more experience. There he studied
Architecture for two more years, gaining more experience in building physics, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and REVIT architecture.

During his academic years, he completed various internships at leading architecture firms in Bonaire, Aruba, and the
Netherlands.
In 2021, he returned to Bonaire to start his professional career and joined the Streefkerk Architects + Consultants’ team as a
draughtsman. Furthermore, Adrian also supervises, calculates, and creates progress reports of various projects.

Adrian is a driven young man who is eager to learn more from his colleagues, while also contributing to the company’s
success.
